Michael's Aunt Carol is letting us squat in her attic until we find a place to live in New Orleans. Actually, there is a big upstairs room with a bathroom for our family, another room downstairs for Dahlia to sleep during the day, and free air conditioning! Shalom is having a lot of fun playing with her nine-year-old cousin Skylar. Dahlia, Shalom, and I arrived yesterday. Today we are not doing much other than relaxing around the house and spending time with Michael before his 60-hour work week begins. Just now, we naively took a walk around the neighborhood, underestimating the unpleasantness of the 90 degree, 90% humidity climate.
The phone number here is 985-641-4519 and the address is 111 Pinewood; Slidell, Louisiana; 70458. Michael's cell phone (new IPhone!) number is 504-289-3156. I will get a new phone soon and send that number along, too. Whenever I find the cord for the camera, I'll post some pics from our new digs. Love, Diana
